Whether you’re perfecting grandma’s dill recipe or experimenting with wild ferments, this is your shot to shine. Winners will be announced live on stage at each Picklefest event, so get your jars ready to steal the show.

Best Dill (vinegar-based)
Best Kosher (naturally fermented)
Best Spicy (any style)
Most Creative — Vinegar
Most Creative — Lacto-Ferment

Rules for Entering

Entries should primarily be pickled cucumbers. Other pickled vegetables or fruits may be accepted in the Most Creative categories, provided they fit the category definition and meet food-safety requirements.
Each participant may submit up to two entries total.
Each entry must be entered into one category only.
One clearly labelled jar is required per entry.
Entry fee includes one festival ticket.
Jars will not be returned.
Total contest entries are capped at 50 per market.
